A New You in 2020

Are you at a point in your life where you want to make a change? Perhaps you are feeling a little uncomfortable in your body or feel really stuck on what to do next?

Often I am asked, 'What does a Health Coach do?'

The job of a Health Coach is to tease out the best habits, behaviours and goals out of their clients so that they can live happier healthier lives. My approach is holistic and through my training I have learnt that many areas of our lives contribute to good health – not just what we put in our mouths.

I didn’t believe I personally needed a coach until my husband suggested it for our business. After just a few sessions I saw the benefit for myself that she already had on our lives. Sometimes the most beneficial things we can do to improve our wellbeing are the ones that are the most obvious. We don’t see them though until someone points them out to us.

What makes the difference? Being held accountable for our actions.

A few years ago, I had a health crisis of my own, my body shut down and my ‘bucket’ overflowed. This led me into furthering my studies to really understand the body and how our daily choices affect us, this included stress management, breathwork and nutrition.

I am on the path to becoming a qualified Nutritionist and Naturopath and continually add tools and tips that help my clients to become healthier and happier. As a Skin Therapist and Nutrition Coach, I take a hands-on approach to help the outside reflect the changes within. When you feel good, you want it to reflect on the outside and proper education and a trained eye is a skill I have developed over years to help my clients.

A Health Coach gets the best out of their clients and is able to provide honest support and feedback that you can’t always receive from a loved one. Clients that approach me want to change and know that they need to put in the work if they are not happy with their current state of health.

Change comes from within, forming positive habits and being held accountable to those changes and behaviours is why coaching works.
